All of the attorneys are active in Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance (LEAP), a Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association subcommittee that reviews community service opportunities and concentrates efforts in the areas of education and socialization.
The firm actively supports the Don Boson Center, an organization with several Inner-city locations that provide day care, family counseling and emergency financial assistance to local families.
Bartimus, Frickleton, Robertson & Gorny, P.C. also aids Operation Breakthrough, a Kansas City Inner-city day care operation with approximately 400 children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years as its responsibility. The firm’s staff has worked to organize paper and book drives, holiday parties, and worked to fill Operation Breakthrough’s food pantry, all part of an effort to provide some measure of happiness and hope for Kansas City’s less fortunate children.
In addition, the firm gathers once a week to make sandwiches for the City Union Mission homeless shelter.
